All Seas Capital Announces New Finance Appointment

28 February 2024: All Seas Capital, a pan-European private capital fund that provides transformational capital solutions to leading founder- and entrepreneur-owned companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Moore as Financial Controller, strengthening its operational team.

Sam is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting associated with All Seas funds.  He will also support on tax, structuring and fund performance analysis, working alongside CFO/COO Tom Lack.

With extensive private capital experience whilst at Moore Kingston Smith LLP and Stride.VC, Sam has in-depth experience in fund and firm related finance and reporting functions, including portfolio company valuation and reporting and deal, tax and limited partner support. Sam is ACA (ICAEW) qualified and graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in History with Economics.

Sam’s appointment follows the expansion of the All Seas Capital team and a raft of promotions made after the firm closed its maiden fund with total commitments of US$400m including coinvestments.

Last year, All Seas Capital appointed Tom Lack as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Luis García as an Investment Associate (promoted to Principal), and Leeron Haffner as an Investment Analyst (promoted to Associate). The following promotions were made this year: Gemma Braithwaite, Partner, Head of Investor Relations; Joe Petrusic, Partner, Investment Team; Charlie Budenberg, Director, Investment Team; Luis Garcia, Principal, Investment Team; Alain Kaptan, Principal, Investment Team, Leeron Haffner, Associate, Investment Team, Jeremy Mercier, Associate, Investment Team and Martina Ross, Finance & Operations Manager.

Marc Ciancimino, Co-Founder

Prior to starting All Seas, Marc was a partner (“Member”) of KKR & Co where he spent a decade and started the European dimension of the firm’s private credit activities with a special emphasis on hybrid transactions. He sat on the Global Private Credit Committee and was a Portfolio Management Committee member. He started his career in 1995 at Citibank and also worked at Bankers Trust before moving to the buyside in 1999. He has invested over $1.9bn since he started his career.

Cristobal Cuart, Co-Founder

Prior to All Seas, Cristobal was a Director at KKR which he joined in 2010 where he was a senior member of the European private credit and preferred equity platform, working closely with Marc Ciancimino to launch and grow the firm’s European private credit and preferred equity activities. He has invested over $2.2bn into privately held businesses throughout his career.
